Životopis (biografie):
Král kovbojů, král zápaďanů, nebo jednoduše Buck – herec a zpěvák, Roy Rogers se narodil 5. 11.1911, jako Leonard Franklin Slye v Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Roy vyrůstal mezi koňmi na ranči, hrál dobře na kytaru a banjo, a výborně zpíval. Rozhodl se proto odejít z Ohia a věnovat se hudbě a zpěvu.
Ve věku 18 let se přestěhoval v roce 1930 do Kalifornie, a vystupoval spolu s hudebními skupinami - The Hollywood Hillbillies, Texas Outlaws, a založil si take později svou vlastní skupinu - Cowboys. V roce 1934 spolupracuje také se skupinou Boba Nolana a Tima Spencera s názvem - Sons of the .....zobrazit více
